Here's the title

Bob called me this morning to report. "We have been extremely frustrated that we have not seen the water balls. I had to demand that our pallets be located so that we can get them off the ship."

With the help from the Navy and Marines they located the pallets.

Then Bob said, "Imagine a storage hold below decks of the Ship (USS Iwo Jima)... the size of a football field. Loaded with pallet and crates. Our pallets where in the middle of all this freight that is heading to Columbia on the next leg of Continuos Promise."



This posed a bit of a problem, since the water balls are for testing and evaluation in Haiti.

Bob says, "Again, with the help of our EDGE team, the Navy and the Marines, the crates were opened in the place that they sat."

I can only imagine the sight of the EDGE team, Navy and Marines in "fire bucket brigade" style, moving thirty water balls from the middle of a football field size storage hold, over the tops of other freight and loading them onto the LCU (Landing Craft Unit) to be taken to shore. It had to be a sight to behold.

Bob, Marcia, and half of the team accompanied the Marines and the thirty water balls onto the LCU (Landing Craft Unit) and to shore where they where, hand carried by several U.S. Marines units and loaded onto a land vehicle.
