The Crutches

Your video isinteresting on so many levels. I have had surgery on both knees (one ACL and anouther similar to yours.) It does seem pointless to have crutches for only three days and then they sit awaiting an unknown fate.
One thought, does San Antonio have a VA hospital? I know things like quality crutches can be hard to come by at some of thier facilities.
I imagine there are also free clinics that could see that they are well used.

Butts and crutches

Have I told you that my mother used to own a medical equipment business? We rented crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, beds, oxygen tanks...
if they'll go all the way down to 5th-grader size, bring them to my school and we'll keep them in the nurse's office.
And, in a "it's a small world" moment, I talked to Dan Butt this weekend. He's the chair of the Foundation for my diocese (the group that does investments on behalf of our congregations).
