A Nice Look at Love
Hugh at Standing Room Only has posted a very interesting piece about love. I like that it speaks to the many elements of real love. I also like it because it reminds me that Love is something you give and do and receive. Love is action more than feeling.
According to Hugh:
- Love takes a lot of time.
- Love means listening and good listening is work.
- Love is more about giving than receiving. Giving hurts sometimes.
- Love is out of your control. Once you love someone, you can't just "get off the ride".
- And finally, love may be the single most important and wonderful human experience available to us in this life. You do not want to miss this joyous party because you were too scared to give yourself away.

2000 copies were printed. We sold well over 500 as advance purchases or in the weeks leading up to Christmas. This paid for the printing costs completely.
