great photo--makes me smile--on the subject of friends..my youngest , E,age 15, met her best friend, M, 9 yrs ago in kindergarten when M took  E's hand as she screamed for me at the door--asked her if she liked tomatoes and Barney--and now...they are freshmen in hi school and still BF (F?)...this reminded me--and i had just written a piece about my bf today--

I still remember my best

I still remember my best friend at this age--Nicki and I smashed many plates while washing dishes together at boarding school. She had red hair and made me laugh.

Actually, it's my middle

Actually, it's my middle daughter who had the hard time at school. She's at a smaller school this year and doing fine. This is our youngest, the one from the two bifocals essays. She only knows goodness in the world.
