Shining

You'll probably need to be a movie buff to fully enjoy this, but I think it's brilliant.

That's could not be more awesome. The Shining is now a "family romantic comedy!"

Isn't it wonderful. If you watch it carefully, you'll be stunned by how carefully it is cut to go with the music. I mean, the last kiss is PERFECT.

I laughed so hard at this. I don't think I realized how formulated these trailers are, and how predictable the music is.

Oh, that is brilliant. I love the voice over (how do they get that wholesome sound?), and the Pete Gabrial song--what trailer is that actually on right now? Wow, it really is all in how you spin it.

What silliness! Sure is different from what I got from the movie!

OK, two things.
1. This explains why I either see movies I wind up hating or miss movies I would love.
B. Politics...Spin...Need I say more.

Or as Groondskeeper Willie pronounces it: "The Shinning"

If you liked that, you may also enjoy West Side Story as a zombie flick (these were part of the same project):

Shows that people can spin the story of their life to fit just about any sound track they want to hear...

Perfect!  It was great, then shifted to awesome when Danny came around the corner in the haunted room and got Jack instead of the ghoul from  the bathtub.  The cutting was just awesome. The commenter who observed that this relates to "spin" above was dead on...

That was just amazing.  The editing, the music, the voiceover.  Heh, I'm still chuckling over it. What would have been awesome is if they could have made "Redrum" into something happy/wholesome.
