Something New at RLP

November 24, 2005 - 12:15pm

When I launched the new Real Live Preacher site on August 1st, we had a limited number of features. Somewhere along the way we updated the chatroom and made some minor changes. A second wave of changes is coming soon. The first of these is a book review site here at Real Live Preacher. Viva Books in San Antonio, one of my favorite places in the world, is going to run the site. We have a number of reviewers who will review all sorts of books. One of our reviewers will review the new Anne Rice Book, "Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt." I'll be reviewing a new biography of C.G. Jung.

These books will not be limited to spiritual books or any other category. We'll review the books that we find to be interesting. If you are logged in with your rlp account, you'll be able to leave comments if you want.

And of course, a small percentage of each sale will go to help with expenses here at Real Live Preacher.

So welcome to the RLP Book Review Site. I hope you enjoy it.

Note: At this point, you need to log into this site with your rlp account if you want to leave comments. By next week you'll already be logged in if you logged in at RLP.

ps - check out the bios of the reviewers. We're not going to make the tragic mistake of taking ourselves to seriously!

Glad to find you again. And see you moved successfully. I have been way busy with my book, finally making progess. Getting ready to move my blog too, once my new assistant has time. What system are you using?

Hi Dave, the system is Drupal, and I'm running it on my own server. If you remember me talking to you about writers and bloggers, I'll chat with you more about that first of the year. I needed to get the rlp site done first.
