Nice shot. Is there a story here?
Nope, no story. Driving through Nixon. Saw the building and the red light on it and the darkness. Had to take a picture. I did slow down my shutter speed and use a tripod.
Okay, I'm a geek. Tritone?
But not enough of a geek to remember to log on before I post.
Don't know what tritone is. The red light was like that. I just took the picture. Saw the old building and thought it looked...amazing.
Wow, that's natural light? It's perfect.
Tritone means three inks. I was guessing brown, red, and yellow. If you change the image mode to Grayscale and then Duotone, you'll get the controls.
Yeah, that's exactly how it looked, red light and all. Nixon is an old town, and this was on the edge of town, right on the main highway. Looked like it used to be a club of some kind.
I drove by and saw it. Turned around. The light bulb was red, who knows why. It looked abandoned. No idea why there was a light on at all.
Great picture! I like the makeshift address on the window board...and the reddish lighting, of course.
Is this where the book-signing is going to take place?

Love those kinds of Texas images. Where is Nixon, TX? I lived in Central Tx for 5 years, so I feel like I should know...
